From: King Street
Although we have an entry on King Street, our main entrance is actually to the rear of the building. From the corner of King St. and Morris St. head west down Morris St. towards St Philip Street and turn left into the Morris-Brown AME Church Parking Lot. If you have walked to St Philips St. you have walked too far. GBA is located in the tan and green building in the left corner of the parking lot.
From: North Charleston
Take I-26 East to King Street exit. Turn right on to King Street towards downtown. Continue on King Street and turn right on Morris Street. Make the first left into the parking lot of the Morris Street AME Church and proceed to the far left corner of the parking lot. We are on the first floor of the tan & green building.
From: Mount Pleasant
Cross the Cooper River on the Arthur Ravenel Bridge and take the King Street Exit. Turn right on to King Street towards downtown. Continue on King Street and turn right on Morris Street. Make the first left into the parking lot of the Morris Street AME Church and proceed to the far left corner of the parking lot. We are on the first floor of the tan & green building.
From: West Ashley
Take US Highway 17 North over the Ashley River Bridge and on to Cannon Street. Continue straight on Cannon Street and turn right on St. Philip Street. Continue on St, Phillip past Morris Street (the first light) and turn left into the parking lot of the Morris Street AME Church and proceed to the far right corner of the parking lot. We are on the first floor of the tan & green building.
